This is the only E46 3 Series page whose ZRP forged connecting rods are listed for the M54B25: they come as a set of six and singly, in 4340 steel, with ARP 2000 or L19 hardware. The ATHENA and COMETIC head gasket covers the M54B25 and M54B30 of the E46, E39, E60, Z3 and Z4. The cylinder head is complete: SUPERTECH and FERREA performance valves, SUPERTECH guides, valve stem seals and collets in 6mm, SUPERTECH and CATCAMS springs. The M52B28TU has its full rotating assembly: WISECO forged pistons in 84.0 to 85.0mm bores at a compression ratio of 8.8:1, with a 22mm gudgeon pin and a 32.7mm compression height, ZRP forged connecting rods with a 135mm centre to centre length, and the twelve-piece ARP-201-6303 con rod bolt kit designed for the M52B28 and M54B30. The head takes CATCAMS Sport camshafts for the M52 double VANOS, SUPERTECH and FERREA valves, SUPERTECH guides, valve stem seals, collets and springs in 6mm, plus ACL RACE and KING RACING tri-metal bearings.

The 3.0 litre gets a full rotating assembly: WISECO forged pistons in 84.0 to 84.5mm bores at compression ratios of 9:1 and 11:1, with a 22mm gudgeon pin, ZRP forged connecting rods with a 135mm centre to centre length and ARP-201-6303 con rod bolts. The CATCAMS Sport camshafts 1304501 and 1304504 are specific to the M54B30, and the ATHENA and COMETIC head gasket covers the M54B25 and M54B30.
