  2.0L 8v - B201

  This page brings together the forged pistons offered for the SAAB 2.0L 8-valve B201, the only two-valve-per-cylinder engine in our SAAB section. The kit is built by WISECO and comes in four bore sizes, 90mm as standard then 90.25mm, 90.5mm and 91mm, all at a compression ratio of 8.5:1. That 0.25mm step lets you follow a progressive rebore of the block without altering the compression ratio. Gudgeon pins, piston rings and circlips are supplied with the set.   2.0L 16v - B204

  Forged pistons for the SAAB 2.0L 16-valve B204. The kit listed here also covers the 2.3L B234, both blocks sharing the same 90mm bore. Two brands share this page: WÖSSNER, from 90 to 93mm with a compression ratio rising from 8.5:1 to 9:1, and WISECO, from 90 to 91mm in 0.25mm steps at a constant 8:1. The 93mm size is the largest oversize in the whole SAAB section, three millimetres above standard, and suits blocks that have already been rebored. Gudgeon pins, rings and circlips supplied.

  2.0L 16v - B205

  WÖSSNER forged pistons for the SAAB 2.0L 16-valve B205, the only brand listed for this engine. Three sizes are offered: 90mm and 90.5mm at a compression ratio of 9.3:1, then 91mm at 9.4:1. This is the highest ratio among the 2.0L four-cylinder engines in our SAAB section, where the B204 drops to 8:1, so the B205 is built with firmer compression and a correspondingly controlled boost pressure. Gudgeon pins, piston rings and circlips are supplied with the set.

  2.0L 16v - B207R

  Forged pistons for the SAAB 2.0L 16-valve B207R, an engine shared with the Opel Z20LET. This is the smallest bore in our SAAB section at 86mm, and the best stocked page of the branch with ten sizes in all. WÖSSNER offers two families, one from 86 to 87mm at ratios of 8.8:1 to 9:1, the other in 86 and 86.5mm at a higher 9.2:1. WISECO covers five sizes in 0.25mm steps, from 86 to 87mm, at a constant 8.8:1. Gudgeon pins, rings and circlips supplied with every set.

  2.3L 16v - B234

  Forged pistons for the SAAB 2.3L 16-valve B234. The kit listed here is the same one used on the 2.0L B204: both blocks share a 90mm bore, the extra capacity of the 2.3L coming from the stroke rather than the diameter. WÖSSNER covers 90, 90.5, 91 and 93mm, with compression ratios from 8.5:1 to 9:1. WISECO offers 90, 90.25, 90.5 and 91mm at a constant 8:1, better suited to a heavily boosted build. Gudgeon pins, rings and circlips supplied.

  2.3L 16v - B235

  The SAAB 2.3L 16-valve turbo B235 is the only page in our SAAB section to cover the complete rotating assembly. On the piston side, WÖSSNER offers 90 and 90.5mm at 9.3:1 and 91mm at 9.4:1, while WISECO covers 90, 90.25, 90.5 and 91mm at a constant 8.5:1. On the rod side, WÖSSNER supplies an I-beam set running on ARP2000 bolts, designed to work with forged pistons. Pistons and connecting rods are ordered separately, at the size you choose.

  2.8L 24v - A28 / Z28

  WÖSSNER forged pistons for the 2.8L 24-valve turbo, listed under the codes A28NET, Z28NET and B284R and fitted by both SAAB and Opel. It is the only 24-valve engine in our SAAB section and the only page offering a single size: 89mm, the standard bore, at a compression ratio of 9.5:1. That ratio is the highest of the whole branch, where the four-cylinder engines drop as low as 8:1. The set comes complete with gudgeon pins, piston rings and circlips.
