    The Z4 M40i G29 is powered by the B58B30C, a 340hp 3.0 24V turbo straight-six shared with the TOYOTA Supra.

    Two sets of forged pistons cover 82 to 83mm bore at 10.5:1 and 11:1, in the JE PISTONS, JE Ultra Series, WÖSSNER and DIAMOND ranges, one of them drawn for a 100mm stroke crankshaft. The forged ZRP and BOOSTLINE connecting rods come in sixes, with ARP2000, L19 or CA625+ bolts. The head gasket is either an ATHENA O-ring in 83.0 and 84.5mm at 1.00mm or a COMETIC MLX in 83.0mm at 0.91mm, with ARP head studs and a set of 14 ARP 8740 main studs.

    Big end and main bearings come from ACL RACE and KING RACING pMaxKote, the valve train from SUPERTECH.
