The N54B30 is BMW's 3.0 litre 24-valve twin-turbo straight six, fitted to the 135i and 1M E8X, 335i E9X and Z4. It takes a lot, but the standard parts become the limit as soon as the build starts.
Bottom end: forged pistons, forged connecting rods, tri-metal big end and main bearings, and an uprated head gasket.
Cylinder head: performance intake and exhaust valves, uprated valve springs, intake and exhaust valve stem seals, plus CATCAMS camshafts.
A DINAN performance air filter is also listed, on clearance with no returns.
