The D16Y8 of the Civic VI 1.6 118hp (EJ8) is approached here through its rotating assembly.
WISECO and WÖSSNER forged pistons cover bores from 75 to 76mm on a 19mm gudgeon pin, with compression ratios from 8:1 to 11.9:1: low enough to drop compression for boost, high enough to raise it on a naturally aspirated engine. MANLEY forged connecting rods in H profile, in 4340 steel with ARP 2000 bolts, hold up as the revs climb.
ACL RACE and KING RACING tri-metal bearings close the assembly on the big end, the mains and the thrust washers.
