The 1.8 16V R18A1 of the Honda Civic IX saloon (FB2), 141hp, is covered here through its cylinder head. SUPERTECH valves are available for both intake and exhaust, in sets of 8, in standard size, +0.50mm or +1.00mm: stainless steel on the intake side, stainless steel or Inconel on the exhaust side. SUPERTECH 5.5mm single-groove valve collets come as a kit of 16 for 8 valves or 32 for the complete head, and the 5.5mm valve stem seals in sets of 8, intake and exhaust sold separately. No pistons, connecting rods or head gasket are listed on this page.
This page brings together the cylinder head parts listed for the 1.8 16V R18Z1 of the Honda Civic IX, 141hp. It carries four references, all with a 5.5mm stem diameter. The SUPERTECH single-groove valve collets are chosen by the number of valves being refitted: a kit of 16 for 8 valves, a kit of 32 for all 16 valves of the head. The valve stem seals, in sets of 8, are ordered separately for the intake (VS-H5.5I-8) and for the exhaust (VS-H5.5E-8), so each side can be dealt with on its own. The SUPERTECH single-groove valve collets complete the range, as KPR-5.5-7A-ST-16 for 8 valves or KPR-5.5-7A-ST-32 for 16. No valves, pistons or connecting rods are offered for this engine yet.
The 2.0 i-VTEC turbo K20C1 of the Honda Civic IX Type R (FK2), 310hp, is served here through its bottom end. The set of 4 forged connecting rods in 4340 steel, for a 22mm gudgeon pin, is listed for the FK2, FK8 and FL5 Type R. Three versions are offered: BOOSTLINE with a three-pocket I-beam and ARP2000 or CA625+ bolts, and WÖSSNER with an I-beam and ARP2000 bolts. The ACL RACE and KING RACING crankshaft thrust washers, without anti-friction coating, control end float. Forged pistons, head gasket and studs are not listed for this version.
