The BMW Z3 3.0i 231hp with the M54B30 engine, built from 2000 to 2003, is the largest non M six cylinder in the Z3 range.
The ATHENA and COMETIC uprated head gasket comes as MLS in 85.0mm bore and five thicknesses from 0.69 to 1.30mm, which lets you recover compression ratio after skimming. WISECO forged pistons cover 84, 84.25 and 84.5mm in 9:1 and 11:1, and ZRP rods of 135mm centre to centre take ARP 2000 con rod bolts, part ARP-201-6303, the only ones in this Z3 range. Add CATCAMS camshafts 1304501 and 1304504, the full SUPERTECH and FERREA valvetrain and ACL and KING RACING bearings.
