The BMW Z3M 3.2 321hp with the S50B32 engine, built from 1997 to 2001, is the only engine in this Z3 range whose bottom end can be rebuilt in full.
It is the only one to carry a ZRP forged crankshaft, and its ZRP rods come in two beam types, H and I, with ARP 2000 or L19 bolts. Forged pistons are 86.5mm, from WISECO, JE PISTONS and WÖSSNER, from 11.3:1 to 12.5:1. The head takes SUPERTECH valves in Inconel or stainless steel, SUPERTECH springs, CATCAMS CC010 cam followers, CATCAMS camshafts and ARP 2000 head studs. The COMETIC MLS gasket is 87.0mm. FUEL INJECTOR CLINIC injectors from 650 to 2150cc.
