  • 1.2L 16v - EA211
This page gathers the NSB Concept offer for the VAG 1.2-litre 16-valve EA211 engine. The live catalogue is currently limited to a single line: a set of Wössner forged pistons, the only brand available for this block. No other internal component is listed here. If you are building a larger EA211, please see our 1.4L 16v - EA211 and 1.5L 16v - EA211 pages, which carry the forged connecting rods, uprated head gaskets and race bearings. Pistons held in our French stock leave the same working day, Monday to Friday up to 5pm.
  • 1.3L 8v - G40
The 1.3-litre 8-valve G40, engine code PY, is the supercharged block of the VW Polo 86C. NSB Concept currently covers three families for it: a set of forged pistons offered in Wössner and Wiseco variants, Catcams performance camshafts and a Kent Cams vernier timing pulley, which lets you dial in the cam timing accurately once new profiles are fitted. These are the only three families genuinely available on this page: no connecting rods, head gasket or race bearings are listed for this engine. Parts held in France leave the same working day up to 5pm.
  • 1.4L 16v - AFH
The naturally aspirated 1.4-litre 16-valve unit, engine codes AFH, AFK and AHW, powers the VW Polo 6N and the SEAT Ibiza 6K. NSB Concept lists four live families for it: ZRP forged connecting rods, JE Pistons forged pistons, Catcams performance camshafts with their matching vernier timing pulleys, and a set of mechanical cam followers. The page is therefore aimed at the top end and the rotating assembly; it carries no uprated head gasket, no race bearings and no cylinder head studs. Lines held in France leave the same working day up to 5pm.
  • 1.4L 16v - EA111
The 1.4-litre 16-valve TSI of the EA111 family is the forced-induction block NSB Concept covers most fully on this page. You will find two distinct ZRP forged connecting rods for a 19mm gudgeon pin, one with an oil feed hole and one without, a set of forged pistons offered in JE Pistons, Wössner and Wiseco, an uprated head gasket in Cometic 77.0mm bore for 0.81mm thickness or Athena 77.8mm for 1.00mm, tri-metal big end bearings in ACL Race or King Racing, and a Turbosmart dump valve. French stock is despatched the same day until 5pm.
  • 1.4L 16v - EA211
Take care not to confuse the two 1.4 TSI units: the EA211, introduced in 2012, replaced the EA111 and accepts neither its pistons nor its rods. The NSB Concept catalogue specific to this block comes down to two lines, a set of Wössner forged pistons and one ZRP forged connecting rod. Three parts shared with the earlier generation complete the page, a Cometic head gasket at 77.0mm bore for 0.81mm or Athena at 77.8mm for 1.00mm, ACL Race or King Racing big end bearings, and a Turbosmart dump valve. Do check the code stamped on your block before ordering.
  • 1.5L 16v - EA211
The 1.5-litre 16-valve TSI of the EA211 family succeeded the 1.4 TSI in the Volkswagen and Audi range. Only one line is devoted to it on this page today: a set of ZRP forged connecting rods, I-beam profile with ARP2000 bolts, designed to take forged pistons. Take care not to confuse this block with the 1.4L 16v EA211, whose dimensions and parts differ and which has its own page. If you are after pistons, a head gasket or race bearings for an EA211, those are listed on the 1.4L 16v - EA211 page.
  • 1.6L 8v - EG
The 1.6-litre 8-valve EG is the block of the Golf 1 GTI and the first-generation Scirocco. Three lines are currently live on this page: an Athena uprated head gasket, a set of Wössner forged pistons at 79.75mm bore, offered at 11.6:1 or 9.5:1 compression and in rebore sizes up to +1.50mm, and a set of ARP big end bolts shared with the 1.8-litre 8-valve G60 PG. Neither forged rods, race bearings nor cylinder head studs are offered for this engine.
  • 1.6L 16v - AJV/ARC
The 1.6-litre 16-valve unit, engine codes AJV and ARC, is the block of the VW Polo GTI. The NSB Concept offer is currently down to a single live line: a set of Wiseco forged pistons. Contrary to what older copy suggested, no connecting rod, head gasket, race bearing or stud is available here, and Wössner is not listed for this engine. If your build needs a complete rotating assembly, do get in touch and we will canvass our European suppliers. Pistons held in France leave the same working day up to 5pm.
  • 1.6L 16v - EG Oettinger
Oettinger, the long-standing German tuner of the VAG group, developed a 16-valve cylinder head fitted to the 1.6-litre EG block. This page now carries a single live line: a set of Wössner forged pistons, available in standard size and in a +0.50mm rebore size. Contrary to what the earlier copy claimed, no King race bearings, no Cometic gasket and no ZRP rods are listed here. For a fuller build of this block, our 1.6L 8v - EG page carries the head gasket and the big end bolts.
  • 1.8L 8v - DX
The 1.8-litre 8-valve DX powers the Golf II and the Scirocco. The stock genuinely visible on this page comes down to seven lines: ACL main and side thrust bearings, doubled by King Racing on the crankshaft, ARP cylinder head studs covering the whole family of 1.8 and 2.0 8-valve units sharing the same head, ABA, DX, GX, HT, JH, PF, PG, RD and RV, ARP big end bolts, two distinct Kent Cams uprated timing belts for Golf II and Scirocco, and a set of forged pistons offered in Wössner and Wiseco. No forged connecting rod is live.
  • 1.8L 8v - G60
The G60, engine code PG, is the supercharged 1.8-litre 8-valve unit of the Golf II. Here the piston choice comes down to compression ratio: 8:1 to keep the original blower, 9:1 for a turbo conversion, both offered in Wössner and Wiseco and in several rebore sizes. The page also carries a Kent Cams uprated timing belt specific to the Golf II G60 and a set of ARP big end bolts. No forged connecting rod and no head gasket are offered for this engine.
  • 1.8L 16v - EA888
The 1.8-litre 16-valve EA888 is the forced-induction block that replaced the 1.8T 20V at Volkswagen, Audi and SEAT. Six lines are live on this page. The ZRP forged connecting rods are listed for the whole 1.8 and 2.0 16-valve TFSI family, which makes the choice straightforward. Forged pistons come in Wössner or JE Pistons, the Wössner variant at 82.5mm bore for a 9.2:1 compression ratio. Three sets of ACL bearings complete the offer, big end, thrust and main, alongside a Turbosmart dump valve.
  • 1.8L 16v - KR PL
The 1.8-litre 16-valve KR and PL is the block of the Corrado, the Golf 2 GTI 16v and the 16-valve Scirocco. It is the best-stocked page of the 1.8 series, with around twenty live lines. It covers the top end from end to end: Supertech inlet and exhaust valves, Catcams valve springs and performance camshafts, ARP cylinder head studs shared with the 2.0 16-valve 9A and ABF. It also carries Wiseco forged pistons around 81mm bore and ACL Race or King Racing big end and main bearings.
  • 1.8L 16v - KR PL with 20v cylinder head
Grafting a 20-valve 1.8T head onto a KR or PL block is a well-known conversion, and this page gathers the parts for it. All twelve attached lines are live, which is rare in this catalogue. On the head side: Ferrea inlet and exhaust valves, Ferrea springs, Catcams mechanical cam followers, valve guides and stem seals. On the sealing and rotating side: a Cometic head gasket, Wiseco forged pistons for the 92.8mm crankshaft, ACL Race or King Racing big end and main bearings. The ARP stud once advertised is not live here.
  • 1.8L 20v - EA113

Volkswagen and Audi EA113 engine (ADR, AFY, AGN, APG, APT, ARG, AVV, AQE, ARH, AJP), 1.8-litre 20 valves. This category gathers the reinforced engine parts available for this engine, starting with the reinforced cylinder head gasket.

  • 1.8L 20VT
The 1.8T 20V of the EA113 family is the best-covered engine in this entire catalogue: twenty-three live lines and hardly a missing family. The ZRP forged connecting rods come with a 19mm pin, a 20mm pin with oil feed hole, and a 147.2mm long version for stroked crankshafts. Pistons are available from four brands depending on the variant, Wössner, Wiseco, JE Pistons and Diamond, for a 92.80 or 95.50mm crankshaft. To that add Ferrea valves and springs, a Cometic gasket at 82.0mm for 1.30mm, ARP studs and bolts, Cat Cams followers and vernier pulley, ACL bearings and NGK plugs.
  • 2.0L 8v - ABA
The ABA is the naturally aspirated 2.0-litre 8-valve unit of the VAG group. Four grouped listings remain live on this page, and they cover most of what a build needs. Forged pistons come in Wiseco, JE Pistons or Wössner depending on the variant, the Wiseco version at 83mm bore for a 10.5:1 compression ratio. The ZRP forged connecting rods are common to the whole EA827 family, 8-valve as well as 16-valve. The ARP cylinder head studs and the Cometic gasket at 85.0mm for 0.69mm thickness also cover the other 8-valve codes sharing the same head.
  • 2.0L 8v - ABA with 20v cylinder head
Fitting a 20-valve head on an ABA block calls for a dedicated piston: the JE Pistons set offered here is quoted at 83mm bore for a 9:1 compression ratio, suited to forced induction, and also covers the ABF block. All nine lines attached to this page are live. Around the piston come Ferrea inlet and exhaust valves, their springs, the guides and stem seals, Catcams mechanical cam followers and the Cometic head gasket. Neither camshaft nor forged rod is listed here, contrary to what the earlier copy claimed.
  • 2.0L 8v - EA113

Volkswagen and Audi EA113 engine (AEG, APK, AQY, AZG, AZH, AZJ, AVH, BBW, BBX, BEH, BER, BEJ, BEV, BHP, CBPA, CFEA), 2.0-litre 8 valves. This category gathers the reinforced engine parts available for this engine, starting with the reinforced cylinder head gasket.

  • 2.0L 16v - 9A
The 9A is the two-litre version of the naturally aspirated 16-valve unit, fitted to the Corrado, the Golf 2 GTI and the Scirocco. Eighteen lines are live, mostly cylinder head parts shared with the KR, PL and ABF blocks: Supertech exhaust valves, a Catcams performance camshaft, a Kent Cams vernier timing pulley, ARP head studs and a Cometic gasket. Thrust and main bearings are ACL. Forged pistons are available from three brands depending on the variant, Wössner, Wiseco and JE Pistons. No forged connecting rod is live for this engine.
  • 2.0L 16v - ABF
The ABF is the last naturally aspirated 16-valve unit of the EA827 generation, fitted to the Golf 3 GTI 16v and the SEAT Ibiza. It is the best-stocked page of the two-litre group, with nineteen live lines. It differs from the neighbouring 9A by carrying ZRP forged connecting rods, quoted for the whole EA827 family in 8- and 16-valve form, and by offering two grades of Catcams valve spring, Sport and Race, to be chosen according to the intended cam lift. Pistons come in Wössner, Wiseco or JE Pistons, rounded off by ARP studs, a Cometic gasket and ACL bearings.
  • 2.0L 16v - ABF with 20v cylinder head
This page is aimed at fitting a 1.8T 20-valve head onto a two-litre ABF block. Only the forged piston is specific to that build, quoted for both ABA and ABF and available in JE Pistons or Wiseco depending on the variant. Everything else is 1.8T 20V head hardware shared with the other conversions: an Athena or Cometic uprated head gasket, Ferrea or Supertech exhaust valves and springs, inlet valves, mechanical cam followers, guides and stem seals, ACL or King big end and main bearings. Neither forged rods nor head studs are attached here.
  • 2.0L 16v - EA113 Gen1 K03
The first generation of the EA113 2.0 TFSI is recognised by its K03 turbo and its 20mm gudgeon pin. The piston specific to it is available in JE Pistons, Wössner and Diamond, the Diamond variant at 82.5mm for 10:1. One point to know before ordering: no forged connecting rod is currently available for this generation, unlike the K04 version. The page does however carry a forged crankshaft, a Catcams performance camshaft with its shims and vernier pulley, an Athena or Cometic gasket, ACL or King bearings, Ferrea or Supertech valves and springs, and ARP head and main studs.
  • 2.0L 16v - EA113 Gen2 K04
This is the EA113 2.0 TFSI generation fitted with the K04 turbo, and the only one of the two to offer a forged connecting rod: a ZRP with a 21mm pin and an oil feed hole. Its piston, also on a 21mm pin, is shared with the EA888 Gen1 and comes in JE Pistons, Wössner, ZRP and Diamond, for instance at 82.5mm for 9.6:1 from ZRP or 10:1 from Diamond. The rest of the equipment is common to the whole EA113 family: forged crankshaft, Catcams camshaft, Athena or Cometic gasket, ACL or King bearings, Ferrea or Supertech valves, ARP studs.
  • 2.0L 16v - EA888 Gen1
The first generation of the EA888 is the only page in this group to offer two ZRP forged rods side by side: a generic reference quoted for all 1.8 and 2.0 16-valve TFSI units, and a Gen1-specific reference with a 21mm pin. The piston, also on a 21mm pin, is the same as that of the EA113 Gen2 K04 and comes in JE Pistons, Wössner, ZRP and Diamond. The head gasket, shared between Gen1 and Gen2, is Cometic only. Note that no main bearing is attached to this generation, whereas Gen2 and Gen3 each carry one.
  • 2.0L 16v - EA888 Gen2
The second generation of the EA888 is the one with the most parts of its own. Its gudgeon pin moves up to 22mm, which makes it incompatible with Gen1 pistons: the dedicated reference is JE Pistons. It also has a ZRP forged connecting rod reserved for it and a specific main bearing. The Cometic head gasket, on the other hand, is shared with the Gen1. Around that sits the top end common to the whole EA113 and EA888 family: ACL or King big end bearings, Ferrea or Supertech valves and springs, guides and stem seals, ARP bolts and studs, a Turbosmart dump valve.
  • 2.0L 16v - EA888 Gen3
From the third generation onwards, the EA888 shares its rotating assembly parts with the fourth: the forged connecting rod and the forged piston listed here are quoted for Gen3 and Gen4 alike, and are sold without a brand shown on the listing. The main bearing, by contrast, is specific to the Gen3. The Cometic head gasket also covers both generations. For fasteners, cylinder head parts and stem sealing you will find the same supplies here as on the earlier generations, with no change of part number.
  • 2.0L 16v - EA888 Gen4
The fourth generation of the EA888 is the best-kept page of the TFSI series: sixteen of its nineteen lines are live. Forged connecting rods come in ZRP or Wössner, forged pistons in JE Pistons or Wössner, both families being quoted for Gen3 as well as Gen4. ARP fasteners cover the cylinder head studs and the main bearing studs, and the valve stem seals are Supertech. One caveat worth knowing: the main bearing attached here is explicitly labelled for the Gen3, so do check its fitment before ordering.
  • 2.3L 10v - VR5
The VR5 is the narrow-angle five-cylinder derived from the VR6, and its first version, engine code AGZ, has only ten valves. The NSB Concept catalogue here comes down to a single live line, a grouped listing of forged pistons offered in Wiseco and JE Pistons, the Wiseco variant at 82mm bore for a 9:1 compression ratio. The older per-vehicle kits, SEAT Toledo, VW Bora and VW Passat, have been deactivated. No connecting rod, head gasket, race bearing or fastener is available for this engine, contrary to what the earlier copy claimed.
  • 2.3L 20v - VR5
The second version of the VR5 moves to four valves per cylinder, twenty in total, under engine codes AQN and AZX. As on the ten-valve version, a single listing remains live: a set of forged pistons offered in Wössner and Wiseco, at an 8.5:1 compression ratio depending on the variant, so cut out for forced induction. Thirteen listings have been deactivated, among them the older per-vehicle kits for Bora, Golf 4, Golf V5, Toledo, Passat and New Beetle. No connecting rod, valve spring or race bearing is listed for this engine.
  • 2.8/2.9L 12v - VR6
The 12-valve VR6, engine codes AAA and ABV, is the narrow-angle six-cylinder of the Corrado, the Golf 3, the Vento, the Passat and the Sharan. Twenty lines are live on this page. Forged pistons are available in Wiseco, Wössner and JE Pistons, the Wiseco variant at 82mm for a 10.5:1 ratio. The Supertech exhaust valves are offered in Inconel with a +1.80mm oversize stem. To that add a Catcams performance camshaft, an Athena head gasket, King Race and ACL Race bearings, and three sets of ARP fasteners, head studs, main studs and big end bolts.
  • 2.8L 24v - VR6
Moving to four valves per cylinder gives the 24-valve 2.8-litre VR6, codes AQP, AUE and BDE. Sixteen lines are live. The forged connecting rod is the highlight here: I-beam profile with three pockets, ARP2000 bolts, ZRP variant confirmed. On the valvetrain side, Catcams supplies the performance camshaft, shared with the R32, along with a kit of twenty-four valve springs; Ferrea rounds this out with its own springs and retainers. The Athena head gasket covers both 12- and 24-valve VR6 units, and the thrust bearings are ACL Race.
  • 3.2L 24v - R32
The R32 takes the VR6 to 3.2 litres and 24 valves, under codes BFH, BML, BUB, CBRA and BJS, in the Golf 4, Golf 5, Audi A3 8P and TT 8J. Nineteen lines are live. The forged piston is chosen here between four brands, Diamond, Wiseco, Wössner and JE Pistons, the Diamond variant at 84mm for an 11.2:1 ratio. The forged connecting rod is common to the whole VR6 and R32 family, with a confirmed ZRP variant. The page is completed by a Catcams camshaft quoted for the A3 8P, the TT 8J and the Golf 5, Supertech valves and springs, a Cometic gasket, King Race bearings, ARP fasteners and a Sytec fuel pump.
  • 3.6L 24v - R36
The R36 is the largest capacity of the VR6 family, 3.6 litres and 24 valves. Its offer, however, is the narrowest: only three lines, all of them live. The first is a set of King Race tri-metal main bearings, quoted for the whole VR6 range from 2.8 to 3.6 litres and for the R32. The second is a set of ACL Race Series and King Racing trimetal connecting rod bearings, also shared by the VR6 engines from 2.8 to 3.6 litres. The third is a set of forged pistons, sold without a brand shown on the listing. No connecting rod, valve, head gasket or fastener is available for this block.
  • CUPRA Leon KL

Valve springs come in Catcams Sport, Catcams Race and Supertech. The Kent Cams uprated timing belt is quoted for the Ibiza 2.0 16V. Wössner, Wiseco or JE Pistons forged pistons and ZRP EA827 rods complete the rotating assembly.
  • SEAT Ibiza 6L
The Ibiza 6L is represented here only by its two turbocharged versions, the 150bhp FR 1.8T coded BJX and BKV and the 180bhp Cupra R 1.8T coded BBU, each with its own sub-page. Seventeen live lines are attached to it and all belong to the 1.8T 20V family, which makes this a very homogeneous page. The brands established are ARP for the head and main studs, Cat Cams for the vernier camshaft pulley, and Wössner, Wiseco or JE Pistons for the forged pistons depending on the variant. To that add an Ibiza 6L-specific engine and gearbox mount, bearings, a head gasket and the full top end.
  • SEAT Leon 1M
The Leon 1M brings two mechanical worlds together: the 1.8T 20V, at 180bhp coded AJQ, APP, ARY and AUQ, then as the 209bhp Cupra R coded AMK and the 225bhp one coded BAM, and the 204bhp VR6 2.8 coded AUE and BDE. Six sub-pages follow from that. Twenty-eight live lines are attached directly. The VR6 side is the better served: Athena head gasket, Catcams valve springs, ACL Race main bearings, ZRP forged rods and forged pistons in JE Pistons, Wössner or Wiseco. The 1.8T side brings the ARP fasteners, an uprated clutch and a model-specific engine mount.
  • SEAT Leon 1P

Forty-one lines are attached directly to it and remain live, across thirteen part families. The EA113 Gen2 forged rods on a 21mm pin are offered in ZRP and Wössner, the EA888 Gen2 pistons on a 22mm pin in JE Pistons. The rest is generic VAG hardware shared between EA113, EA888 and EA211: head gaskets, bearings, springs, ARP studs and Supertech stem seals.
  • VW Golf 7
The Golf 7 is the richest generation in sporting versions: fifteen sub-pages, from the 122bhp 1.4 TFSI to the 265bhp GTI Clubsport and the 310bhp Clubsport S, by way of the 280 to 310bhp R models and the 290bhp GTI TCR. Twenty-three live lines are attached directly to it. Two of them sit outside the engine core and are worth flagging: a Mishimoto aluminium water radiator designed for the Golf VII GTI and R, and a Turbosmart dump valve. The rest covers ARP studs, Supertech stem seals, Supertech or Ferrea collets and the EA211 and EA888 forged parts.
  • VW Golf 8

Forged pistons are split by block: JE Pistons for the 1.4 AFH, Wiseco for the 1.6 AJV and ARC. The ZRP forged connecting rods are quoted for the 1.4 16V AFH, AFK and AHW, so shared with the SEAT Ibiza 6K. The page also carries two separate performance camshafts, one for the AFH and one for the GTI AVY, their vernier pulleys and a set of mechanical cam followers.
  • VW Polo 6R
The Polo 6R is the best-stocked of the three Polo pages: four engine sub-pages, from the 140bhp 1.4 TFSI coded CPTA to the 220bhp Polo R WRC coded CDLJ, by way of the 150bhp 1.4 TFSI and the 180bhp GTI 1.4 TSI. Thirty lines out of thirty-four are live, a rare ratio in this catalogue. The ZRP forged rods cover the 1.4 TSI EA111 on a 19mm pin, the JE Pistons pistons the 2.0 TFSI on a 21mm pin. An EA113 forged crankshaft is available, along with ARP studs and two uprated engine mounts, one for the Polo 6R and one for the R WRC.

Only three lines remain live: a set of forged pistons whose variants are Wiseco and Wössner, a performance camshaft sold without a brand shown, and a Kent Cams vernier timing pulley. Three further listings, which named Wiseco, Wössner and Catcams in full, have been deactivated. No head gasket, race bearing or connecting rod is available for this engine.
  • VW Scirocco 1
The first-generation Scirocco is represented here by a single block, the 110bhp 1.6-litre 8-valve EG built from 1976 to 1982, which has its own sub-page. Three lines are attached to it, all of them live. The forged pistons are Wössner. The uprated head gasket is the Golf 1 GTI item, shared with the Scirocco since both cars received the same engine. The ARP big end bolts cover the EG as well as the 1.8-litre 8-valve G60 PG. Neither forged rod, race bearing nor valve is available for this engine.
  • VW Scirocco 2
The Scirocco 2 has three sub-pages, one per engine: the 95bhp 1.8 8V JH, the 129bhp 1.8 16V PL and the 139bhp 1.8 16V KR. Twenty-three lines are live out of the thirty-five attached. Since those blocks are shared with the Golf 2 GTI and the Corrado, most of the stock is shared too: a Kent Cams uprated timing belt for the 1.8 8V, Catcams valve springs in Sport or Race form to be chosen by intended lift, ARP head and main studs, a performance camshaft, valves and bearings. No forged connecting rod is live on this page.
  • VW Scirocco 3
The Scirocco 3 is the most complete page in this section: nine engine sub-pages cover the full 2008 to 2017 spread, from the four versions of the 1.4 TSI and TFSI at 122, 125, 150 and 160bhp, to the 200 and 210bhp 2.0 TFSI and TSI, up to the 256 and 265bhp R models. Thirty-five lines out of forty-six are live. The 2.0 TFSI forged pistons on a 21mm pin are JE Pistons; the EA888 rod and piston listings gather several brands depending on the variant, with no single brand. The page also carries an EA113 forged crankshaft, ARP studs and a model-specific uprated engine mount.
