2.3L 20v - VR5 

The second version of the VR5 moves to four valves per cylinder, twenty in total, under engine codes AQN and AZX. As on the ten-valve version, a single listing remains live: a set of forged pistons offered in Wössner and Wiseco, at an 8.5:1 compression ratio depending on the variant, so cut out for forced induction. Thirteen listings have been deactivated, among them the older per-vehicle kits for Bora, Golf 4, Golf V5, Toledo, Passat and New Beetle. No connecting rod, valve spring or race bearing is listed for this engine.
