The HONDA D16A9 engine of the Civic V (EG6) 1.6 131hp is served here by bearings of tri-metal construction, that is three layers instead of the two of an original bearing. That structure takes the loads of a built engine better.
All three parts of the crankshaft bearing set are offered: big end bearings, main bearings and thrust washers, in the ACL RACE and KING RACING ranges. Standard and standard with HX running clearance sizes cover both uses, fast road and competition, with the pMaxKote coating optional on KING RACING.
