Valve train to be fitted

2500412 and 2500413: stock valve train retained (O.E.M. rocker arms, lash, valves, locks, retainers and springs). Stock spring rate given by Cat Cams: fitted load 14 kg at 41.3 mm intake and 15 kg at 40.2 mm exhaust, 53 kg and 50 kg at 11.5 mm lift.
2500418, 2500415 and 2500414: CATCAMS PAC-S90015 springs and 99412 (upper), 99538/O (intake lower) and 99539/O (exhaust lower) retainers required. Fitted load 31 kg at 37.5 mm, maximum load 79 kg at 12.5 mm lift. The full set is available as a complete 16-valve kit.

Cat Cams recommendations

All profiles: engine with rocker arms; Cat Cams can repair the rocker arms if the wear is not excessive.
2500413: ECU reprogramming advised.
2500418 and 2500415: only for dirt track applications and pro street use with adjustable engine management or carburettors.
2500418, 2500415 and 2500414: check that the distance between valve seal and retainer is at least 0.6 mm at full lift; use "GOLD quality" springs over 12.5 mm valve lift or 8,500 rpm.
2500414: competition only, with independent engine management (throttle position sensor) or carburettors. To be verified: camshafts must turn smoothly in the cylinder head (machine where needed), at least 0.6 mm between valve seal and retainer at full lift, minimum valve spring travel of 1.0 mm at full lift, valve-to-piston clearance of 1.0 mm (1.5 mm preferred), checked 5 to 15° before TDC on exhaust and after TDC on intake.
