The BMW Z4 35i E89 is the only roadster from the marque to receive the 3.0 24V twin-turbo six-cylinder N54B30, 306hp from 2009 to 2016. The uprated head gasket deserves the first look, because it sets the boost pressure the engine will take.
The COMETIC MLX comes in an 85.0mm bore and seven compressed thicknesses, from 0.81mm to 1.32mm, which lets you recover the compression ratio after skimming; the ATHENA O-ring covers 86.0mm in 1.50mm.
