At 160hp the F23A7 of the Honda Accord VI 2.3 16V (CF6) is the strongest member of the F23 family, and the one that works its bearings hardest in sustained use. The KING RACING tri-metal main bearings listed on this page are cut for that load, and the thrust washers from the same brand complete the build by controlling end float. Several undersizes are shown to follow a regrind. Running clearance is checked with plastigage, journal by journal, before final torque.
