The B58B30 of the BMW M240i F22/F87 is the best covered engine of the 2 Series range.
Two sets of forged pistons are offered: the standard JE, WÖSSNER and DIAMOND range in 82 to 83mm bore with compression ratios of 10.5:1 to 11:1, and a set designed for a 100mm stroker crankshaft, at 11:1 with the compression height brought down to 30.5mm. Alongside them sit the ZRP and BOOSTLINE forged connecting rods, the ACL RACE and KING RACING tri-metal bearings for big ends and main journals, the ARP head studs and main studs, the ATHENA and COMETIC head gasket and the SUPERTECH valve train.
