The B48B20A of the BMW 220i F22/F87 is covered here from the bottom end up to the cylinder head.
Forged connecting rods come from ZRP and BOOSTLINE, forged pistons from JE, WÖSSNER and SUPERTECH in 82 to 83mm bore, compression ratios of 9.5:1 to 11:1, 22mm gudgeon pin and 33.2mm compression height. Tri-metal big end bearings are ACL RACE, while ARP supplies both the head studs and the main studs. The head itself receives SUPERTECH valves, springs, stem seals and collets. This is the only page of the 2 Series to carry the COMETIC MLX head gasket in 83.5mm, alongside the NGK Iridium spark plug.
