The BMW M140i F20/F21 introduces the B58B30, a 3.0 24V turbo straight six shared with TOYOTA, and it is the best covered page in the Series 1 range.
Two forged piston sets sit side by side: the standard range from 82 to 83mm bore, 10.5:1 to 11:1, in JE PISTONS, WÖSSNER and DIAMOND, and a set dedicated to the 100mm stroker crankshaft, whose compression height drops to 30.5mm. The ZRP and BOOSTLINE forged rods take L19, ARP2000 or CA625+ bolts.
ATHENA O-ring or COMETIC MLX head gaskets, ARP2000 and CA625+ studs, SUPERTECH valves and springs, ACL RACE and KING RACING bearings complete the set.
