The M3 Competition F80 takes the S55B30 to 450hp from 2016 to 2018, and the cylinder head gets most of the attention here.
Intake valves come in FERREA stainless steel with three grooves and in SUPERTECH stainless steel with one groove; on the exhaust side the SUPERTECH is sodium filled Inconel. Uprated springs come from SUPERTECH and FERREA, collets in 6mm with one or three grooves and in 5mm with one groove, and the valve stem seals are listed separately for intake and exhaust. The COMETIC MLX 85.0mm gasket in 1.12mm handles the sealing, and the DINAN air filter is offered as clearance with no returns.
