The 184hp BMW 220i G42 runs the B48B20A, a 2.0 16V turbo four-cylinder shared with MINI.
It is the only page of the 2 Series G42 to carry the COMETIC MLX head gasket, 83.5mm bore, offered in 0.81 and 1.02mm compressed thickness. Around it, the full rotating assembly: JE PISTONS, WÖSSNER and SUPERTECH forged pistons in 82 and 82.5mm, from 9.5:1 to 11:1; ZRP and BOOSTLINE forged connecting rods with L19, ARP2000 or CA625+ bolts; ACL RACE tri-metal big end bearings in standard size, HX extra clearance, +0.025 and +0.25mm. The head adds valves, springs, stem seals and SUPERTECH collets in 5 and 6mm, clamped by ARP studs.
