Same engine as the 106 XSi, same forged pistons: JE with a 19.5mm gudgeon pin or JE and WOSSNER with an 18mm pin, 78.5 to 79.5mm bore, 9:1 to 12.8:1 compression ratio.
Cylinder head: CATCAMS Sport camshafts, 8 CATCAMS springs and 8 retainers, CATCAMS or KENT CAMS vernier cam pulleys. ACL RACE or KING RACING bearings, ACL RACE thrust washers.
The difference lies in the mounts: VIBRA-TECHNICS phase 2, with an added gearbox mount, and a POWERFLEX torque mount.
