BMW 645Ci E63/E64 333hp N62B44A 2003-2005 

The 4.4 32V V8 N62B44A fitted to the BMW 645Ci E63 and E64 is rated at 333hp, over a short production window, from 2003 to 2005. Two references are listed for this block and the centrepiece is the COMETIC uprated head gasket, a multi-layer steel design at 94.0mm bore offered in seventeen compressed thicknesses, from 0.69 to 3.56mm. Thickness is chosen once the decked surfaces have been measured, since it sets the chamber volume. The KING RACING tri-metal big end bearings CR8049 form the second family, and those are the only two here: no forged pistons, connecting rods or valves for the N62B44A.
