Preparing a 1FZ-FE is rarely about chasing a lap time. This four and a half litre six is asked to pull hard, low down and for a long time, often with a turbo added and always with a heavy vehicle behind it. The three references held here answer that brief and nothing else. The forged piston set is a JE PISTONS. The connecting rod is a forged Manley of H beam section, fitted with ARP2000 bolts, the fastener grade that decides how much torque a rod can take before the big end opens up. The third is a set of ACL Race Series trimetal connecting rod bearings, in standard size and in repair sizes. Three references, three brands, and no gasket or stud on this page.
