The forged set comes from the JE Round range, in 90 and 90.5mm bore, and the choice is made on the compression ratio: 9:1 or 11:1. The first figure is the one a turbo project calls for, the second the one a naturally aspirated build wants when nothing is going to force air into the engine. The half millimetre between the two bores is the margin a machinist needs when a cylinder has to be cleaned up. One reference, and nothing else for the 2AR-FE.
