    The rocker arm kit contains :

    • 16 rocker arms CAT017

    Unlike many of its competitors which machine their camshafts from cast steel, CATCAMS machines its camshafts directly from billet, which makes them much more resistant. Most of the time, CATCAMS camshafts are hollow in order to reduce their mass.

    CATCAMS' expertise in camshafts and their accessories (valve springs, mechanical cam followers, vernier cam pulley...) has been recognised worldwide for several years thanks to precise know-how and a thorough study of engines and applications. Indeed, each camshaft profile has been developed according to the specifics of each engine but also according to the use/application (road, sport, rally, drag, circuit...).

    Two parameters are important for choosing a camshaft profile: valve lift and the angle (opening duration). An increase in opening times increases power/torque, and an increase in lift optimises power at high revs.
