SUPERTECH valves start life as a forging, which is then CNC machined for optimum accuracy. They are heat treated, the treatment varying with the intended use of the valve, then ground again in a super-finishing process. SUPERTECH valves are inspected by several methods, including ultrasound, X-ray and laser measurement.
For more than three decades SUPERTECH has worked to identify the most suitable material for each valve and each application in order to improve reliability. Several valve materials are therefore available, such as stainless steel, Inconel, titanium and sodium, the latter being contained in the valve stem to improve heat dissipation.

The manufacturing processes used by FERREA Racing Components are similar to those of SUPERTECH: slow two-stage forging, heat treatment with 48 hours of stress relieving, and CNC machining. These valves are designed for greater reliability in all conditions and also improve flow thanks to a thinner stem where it meets the valve head (Superflow Valve). FERREA develops several valve ranges and materials in order to match the demands of each engine and each application as closely as possible, from naturally aspirated builds to turbo and nitrous applications.
