The 1.4 16V ET3J4 rated at 88hp is the only sixteen-valve unit in the entry-level C3 range, and two CATCAMS kits cover it. The CATCAMS Sport camshafts come in a series of profiles, from a measured road gain to the sharpest lifts kept for the circuit; the choice is made on lift and duration, not on a headline power figure. The CATCAMS uprated valve spring kit goes with them: past the standard lift, the original springs coil-bind and lose control of the valve. No uprated bottom end parts are listed here, so on this block the build stops at the cylinder head.
