Set of 8 reinforced exhaust valves for the Lancia Delta / Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 2.0 16V turbo.
In 1989 the Delta HF Integrale moved to the 2 litre, 16-valve, twin camshaft turbo engine: 196 hp on the 16V, 205 to 215 hp on the Evo models up to 1994. The Delta II used this engine from 1993 to 1999 as the 2.0 16V Turbo, with 186 or 193 hp depending on the engine code.
From 1992 to 1997 the Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 uses the AR67203, a 2.0 litre 16-valve turbocharged four-cylinder paired with four-wheel drive, with 186 or 190 hp depending on series.
On the Delta II, the 8 original exhaust valves carry part number 7 650 916: 28.35 mm head, 7 mm stem, 125.5 mm length. They close on seats heated by the gases heading to the turbocharger, and they are the first to suffer when boost climbs.
In a turbocharged engine the metal of the exhaust head exceeds 1,000 °C, while a naturally aspirated one stays between 760 and 870 °C. Nearly 75 % of this heat goes through the seat and about 20 % through the guide. An EV8 family steel still holds 550 MPa at 600 °C, but only 300 MPa at 800 °C: the head softens, distorts and the valve stops sealing.
SUPERTECH makes this set in Inconel, a nickel base superalloy that keeps 860 MPa at 732 °C and 554 MPa at 816 °C: around 800 °C it offers about 85 % more strength than EV8 family steel, which makes it the right material for Deltas running higher boost.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LEVI-1001-8 (84704) | SUPERTECH | 28.4 mm | 7 mm | 125.5 mm | Inconel |
The LEVI-1001-8 has a 7 mm stem in the original format, slightly tapered, for a 125.5 mm length and a 28.4 mm head.

| Valve stem seals | 4357028 / 7581344 / 7500716 | |
| Valve guide | 7616992 / 7616998 / 7611679 |
On reassembly, make sure each pair of collets sits fully in the stem groove.
Change the valve stem seals (original 4357028, 7581344 or 7500716) and check guide wear (original 7616992, 7616998 or 7611679) before fitting the valves.
Lapping or regrinding the exhaust seats with the new valves ensures a tight seal.
| SUPERTECH Performance, in California, makes valvetrain parts for racing. For the Delta 2.0 16V turbo it offers an Inconel exhaust valve set with a 28.4 mm head. |
The groove holds the collets and the retainer; for these engines a single version is available:
