The LSJ is the supercharged member of General Motors' 2.0 16v Ecotec family. Unlike the turbocharged units found elsewhere in this range, it is fed by a belt-driven supercharger, so boost is available from low engine speed and the cylinder head sees a permanent thermal load. Two parts answer that here: the COMETIC reinforced head gasket in 87mm bore, which keeps the chamber sealed under pressure, and a set of forged pistons covering the A20NHT, A20NFT, LNF and LSJ codes. A deliberately focused selection, aimed at the top end.
