Forged pistons for FFSA conversions < 1400 cm3 PSA 1.6 16v TU5J4 / TU5JP4 engines (reliner, 18 mm axle)
Objective:
reduce the bore of the TU5J4/TU5JP4 by re-lining to aim for a cylinder capacity < 1400 cm3 according to FFSA categories. See calculation note below.

FFSA displacement calculation note (4 cyl.):
Displacement = (?/4) x Bore2 x Stroke x 4.
Original TU5 stroke: 82.0 mm. To be < 1400 cm3, do you need a bore 73.5mm with the original race.
Examples (stroke 82.0): O78.0 ~1567 cm3; O76.0 ~1488 cm3 (still > 1400).
Optional: with stroke reduced to 77.0 mm, O76.0 ~1397 cm3.
Practical consequence: these "axis 18" pistons are suitable for re-lined assembly and either to a specific crankshaft/stroke, or to a final bore 73.5mm (dedicated pistons not listed here).
Provide 18 mm connecting rods/small heads (or rings) and check compression heights.
