    SUPERTECH intake valves are machined from a forged blank, then CNC-machined for optimum precision. They then receive a heat treatment (which varies according to the valve's application) and are re-ground (super-finishing process). SUPERTECH valves are checked by several methods, including ultrasound, X-ray and laser measurement.

    For more than three decades, SUPERTECH has worked to find the most suitable materials for each valve and each application in order to increase reliability. There are therefore different valve materials such as stainless steel, Inconel and titanium, plus sodium (the latter is present in the valve stem and improves heat dissipation).

    FERREA Racing Components valves are manufactured in a similar way to SUPERTECH: slow two-stage forging, heat treatment and stress relieving over 48 hours, then CNC machining. These valves are designed for improved reliability in all conditions, while also improving flow with a thinner stem at the valve head (Superflow Valve). FERREA develops different ranges and materials of valves to respond as closely as possible to the requirements of each engine and each application (naturally aspirated, turbo, nitrous...).
