Set of 12 exhaust valve stem seals for the Audi 2.7 T 30V V6, 6 mm stem.
These seals fit the 6 mm stem exhaust valves of the Audi 2.7 T twin-turbo 30-valve V6, from 230 to 380 hp: AGB, AZB and APB in the S4 B5, ASJ and AZR in the RS4 B5, AJK, AZA, ARE, BES, APB and BEL in the A4 B5 2.7 Turbo, A6 C5 and allroad C5, from 1997 to 2005.
Each cylinder has two exhaust valves, 12 on the engine, and three inlet valves. The original seal caps the guide and meters the oil that lubricates the stem; Audi uses the same part number 036 109 675 A for all 30 valves of the V6.
On the 2.7 T the exhaust gases head straight for the two turbos, and the 12 seals on this side live in intense heat. Hardened or split, they let oil slide down the stems into the chambers, where it burns: the level drops, the tailpipes puff blue, carbon sticks to valves and ports. The seal must still keep a thin oil path for stem and guide.
SUPERTECH moulds them in Viton (FKM), a high temperature compound picked for long life against hot exhaust valves; for SUPERTECH this material suits them to the highest temperatures, namely 204 °C (400 °F) continuous. Each seal caps an 8.8 mm OD guide and grips a 6 mm stem. The set of 12 fits the full exhaust of both V6 heads; the inlet, with 18 valves, takes a polyacrylate (ACM) seal.

On this V6, the 18 inlet and 12 exhaust seals are dimensionally identical, while the 2.7 T exhaust valves run far hotter in service. That is why SUPERTECH fits the tougher Viton (FKM) VS-VBM6-E there and keeps the polyacrylate (ACM) VS-VBM6-I for the inlet.
