Set of 18 inlet valve stem seals for Audi V6 2.7 T 30V, 6 mm stem.
This set of 18 seals fits the 6 mm stem inlet valves of Audi's 30-valve twin-turbo 2.7 T V6, 230 to 380 hp: AGB, AZB and APB in the S4 B5, ASJ and AZR in the RS4 B5, then AJK, AZA, ARE, BES, APB and BEL in the A4 B5 2.7 Turbo, A6 C5 and allroad C5, built from 1997 to 2005.
Each of the six cylinders takes three inlet valves, 18 on the engine, and two exhaust valves. The original seal sits on the guide and meters the oil that lubricates the stem; Audi uses the same part 036 109 675 A on all 30 valves of the 2.7 T.
On this 2.7 T twin-turbo V6, each inlet seal must keep just a light film of oil on the 6 mm stem, no more, or guide and stem wear. Hardened by years of heat, it lets oil into the 2.7 T's chambers: the level drops, the exhaust smokes blue at start-up or when the APB moves off after idling, and valves and plugs gather deposits.
SUPERTECH moulds its VS-VBM6I-18 in a fine polyacrylate (ACM), sized for the 2.7 T's 8.8 mm guide (outside diameter) and 6 mm stem. With 18 pieces, this set dresses the inlet of both V6 heads; the hotter 2.7 T exhaust takes its own set of 12 in Viton.

On the 2.7 T, the VS-VBM6I-18 and VS-VBM6E-12 have identical dimensions but a different material: SUPERTECH keeps the VS-VBM6-I polyacrylate (ACM) for the 18 inlet valves and the VS-VBM6-E Viton (FKM) for the 12 hotter exhaust ones. Polyacrylate takes 177 °C (350 °F), Viton 204 °C (400 °F) continuous per SUPERTECH. Count 18 inlet and 12 exhaust seals.
