Set of 8 intake valve stem seals for Nissan SR20 and CA18 four-cylinders, 6 mm stem.
This set of 8 fits the 6 mm stem intake valves of Nissan 16-valve four-cylinders: the CA18DE and CA18DET of the Sunny, Bluebird, 200SX and 180SX, and the SR20 family (SR20DE, SR20DEH, SR20DEL, SR20DET, SR20DNE, SR20VE) of the Silvia, S13 to S15 200SX, Primera, Almera, Sunny, Bluebird, Avenir and Infiniti G20.
The head takes 8 intake valves, two per cylinder. Capping the guide, the original seal holds oil back and lets just enough through for the stem; Nissan gives it as 13207-84A00 (NDK) or 13207-D4201 (NOK), then 13207-53F00 (NOK) from 1994 on the SR20DET and 1996 on the SR20DE.
At the top of the guide the stem seal dams the oil bathing the head while letting a thin film run down the stem; without that film, wear attacks the stem and its bore. Once its lip is tired by heat cycles, oil seeps in: more frequent top-ups, a blue cloud on start-up or after idling, fouled valves and plugs.
For the intake of these four-cylinders SUPERTECH uses polyacrylate (ACM), a rubber with good endurance, made for a 6 mm stem and a 10 mm outside diameter guide. These 8 pieces handle the full intake of the head; the exhaust, under more heat, has a separate high-temperature set.

One seal size, two rubbers: VS-N6I polyacrylate (ACM) on the intake side, VS-N6E Viton (FKM) on the exhaust side, where valve heat peaks. SUPERTECH quotes 177 °C (350 °F) for polyacrylate and 204 °C (400 °F) continuous for Viton. These Nissan four-cylinders count 8 seals on each side, one for every valve, so two sets per engine.
