Set of 10 intake valve stem seals for the Audi 2.2 20V turbo five-cylinder, 7 mm stem.
This set fits the 7 mm stem intake valves of the Audi 2.2 20V turbo five-cylinder: the RR of the Quattro 20V, the 3B of the 200 20V Turbo quattro and early S2 Coupé, the ABY of the later S2 Coupé and 80 S2, the ADU of the RS2 Avant and the AAN of the 100 S4 and A6 S6, from 1989 to 1997.
Each head carries 10 intake valves, two per cylinder. The original seal caps the guide and only lets down the oil the stem needs; Audi lists it as 027 109 675, 20 per engine, the same seal being used on the exhaust.
A stem seal walks a fine line: it blocks the oil sitting on top of the head yet lets a film through to grease the stem in its guide, or both wear out. As it ages or heat makes it brittle, oil finds its way into the combustion chamber: falling level, a blue cloud at start-up or after waiting at idle, fouled valves and plugs.
SUPERTECH intake seals are made of polyacrylate (ACM), a durable, good-quality rubber, cut for a 7 mm stem and a guide measuring 9.8 mm outside. The 10 pieces cover the full intake of one head; on the exhaust, where heat is fiercer, a high-temperature compound comes as a separate set.

Both seals share their dimensions but not their material: polyacrylate (ACM) VS-VW7-I on the intake side, Viton (FKM) VS-VW7-E on the exhaust side, picked for the valves that run hottest. SUPERTECH rates polyacrylate up to 177 °C (350 °F) and Viton at 204 °C (400 °F) continuous. This five-cylinder calls for 10 seals on each side.
