The VOLVO 940 follows the 740 without changing its bottom end: it is the same 2.3-litre red block, so the live catalogue is identical. The whole question on this page is rod length. ZRP offers two centre distances, 152mm and 158mm, and that choice is not arbitrary: it depends on the piston and the crankshaft stroke you have settled on, because centre distance plus half the stroke plus compression height has to add up.
