1.8L 16v - B4184 

This page gathers the NSB Concept range for the Volvo 1.8L 16v block, engine code B4184. It is currently built around one WISECO forged piston kit, offered in 81.5mm and 82mm bores at a 9:1 compression ratio, in both standard and AP execution. That lower ratio is what forced-induction builds look for, where detonation margin matters more than part-load efficiency. The B4184 shares its architecture with the Mitsubishi 4G93, which the kit designation itself reflects: the piston dimensions apply to both applications. Connecting rods, big end bearings and head gaskets are not listed on this page.
