Pressure sensor / MAP sensor GM 0-3 bars
Intake Air Pressure Sensor 0-3 bar
The MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor is a magnetoresistive intake air pressure sensor (here, boost pressure up to 3 bar). It consists of a ceramic element with measuring resistors that are sensitive to pressure, whether positive or negative. This ceramic element converts the information into electrical signals ranging from 0 to 5 volts (see conversion table below).
This absolute pressure sensor is compatible with Sybele programmable engine management systems. It will therefore allow for adjustment of the injection timing and ignition advance of the engine.
Please note, as its name suggests, this sensor operates under absolute pressure (perfect vacuum), meaning it can measure up to 2 bar of boost pressure. For a MAP sensor capable of measuring up to 3 bar of boost pressure, you will need: MAP Sensor 0-4 bar; MAP Sensor supplied with a 3-wire connector.:Conversion table:
