Composed of steel fiber (resistance), copper fiber (friction) and brass fiber (lubrication), these MINTEX M1144 pads are designed for sport and road use. Indeed, their consistent friction level across a wide temperature range and their very good coefficient of friction in cold conditions make them an excellent compromise for recreational use. Generally speaking, MINTEX brake pads offer good braking grip, short pedal travel, and consistent pressure applied to the pedal. Furthermore, these sport brake pads leave no deposits on the brake discs. MINTEX M1144 brake pads are factory pre-bedded to minimize the risk of brake fade. However, the brake pads must be broken in over at least 300 km without heavy braking, or only in short bursts, to prevent glazing.
