    SUPERTECH valves are manufactured from a forged part which is then machined by numerical control for optimal precision. They then receive a heat treatment (different depending on the application of the valve) and are ground again (Super-finishing process). SUPERTECH valves are controlled by different means such as ultrasound, There are therefore different valve materials such as stainless steel, inconel, titanium, sodium (the latter is present in the valve stem and allows better heat dissipation). technical-Ferrea.jpg

    The manufacturing processes for FERREA Racing Components valves are similar to those of SUPERTECH: slow forging in two stages, heat treatment and relaxation over 48 hours and machining by numerical control. These valves are designed to obtain better reliability in all circumstances but also to improve the flow with a thinner stem at the valve head (Superflow Valve). FERREA develops different ranges/materials of valves in order to respond as closely as possible to the constraints of each engine and each application (atmo, turbo, nitro preparation, etc.).
