Supertech Valves are manufactured from a forged part which is then CNC machined for optimal precision. They then receive a Thermal Treatment (different depending on the application of the Valve) and are ground again (Super-finishing Process). The Supertech Valves are controlled by different means such as Ultrasound, X-rays, laser measurement.
For more than three decades, Supertech has strived to find the most suitable materials for each Valve and each application in order to increase reliability. There are therefore different valve materials such as stainless steel, inconel, titanium, sodium (the latter is present in the valve tail and allows better heat dissipation).
the Intake valvesfor motorHonda B16Aare offered in"flat" and "dish", two types of Valve head profiles. These terms refer to the shape of thetipof the Valve, that is to say the part of the Valve which comes into contact with the combustion chamber.
Flat valve: These Valves are often chosen for modified engines or stroke engines that operate athigh speedsand which have combustion chambersoptimizedfor better circulation of Exhaust and Intake gases. They are suitable for engines withhigh performance, where every millimeter of airflow counts to maximize high-rpm power.
Dish valve: Valves with concave head can be used for engines thatoperate at more moderate speedsor for applications where better airflow control at low rpm is required. They can also be a good choice for engines where thecompressionmust be slightly reduced or to optimize the management of the combustion chamber in engines with characteristics ofdifferent combustion.
