Set of 8 reinforced exhaust valves for the Honda Civic X 1.5 turbo L15B7.
The L15B7 is Honda's 1.5 litre direct-injection turbocharged four-cylinder that powers the tenth-generation Civic, both as a hatchback (FK7) and as a saloon (FC1): 16 valves, twin camshafts and VTEC variable valve timing.
Its cylinder head has 8 exhaust valves. With forced induction, they see hotter gases than on a naturally aspirated engine, especially when boost pressure is raised.
On a naturally aspirated engine, the metal of an exhaust valve head sits between 760 and 870 °C; with a turbo, it goes past 1,000 °C. The seat removes about 75 % of the heat and the guide about 20 %. An EV8 family steel keeps 550 MPa at 600 °C but drops to 300 MPa at 800 °C: beyond that, the head fatigues, distorts and no longer seals.
FERREA makes these valves in its Super Alloy material, a nickel-based superalloy intended for the exhaust temperatures of a forced-induction engine.
The F2444P only enlarges the head, from 23 to 24 mm: burnt gases leave the cylinder faster, to the benefit of filling. The exhaust seats are then machined to this size.

When refitting the springs, check that the collets sit properly in the stem groove.
With the F2444P, the 8 exhaust seats are machined for a 24 mm head; with the F2443P, they are simply reground.
Fit all 8 valves from the same set and replace the exhaust valve stem seals at the same time.
