Set of 4 reinforced exhaust valves for the Fiat 1.4 turbo.
Fiat's 1.4 litre, 8-valve turbo engine powers the Uno Turbo from 1988 to 2000, with 105 to 118 hp depending on version, then the Punto GT Turbo from 1993 to 1999, with 133 hp as the 176A4.000 and 131 hp as the 176B6.000.
It has a single exhaust valve per cylinder: on the 176A4.000 these 4 original valves carry part number 7 574 881, with a 33 mm head, an 8 mm stem and a 109 mm length. Each one alone takes all the gases of a cylinder before the turbocharger.
Burnt gases pass the exhaust valve on every cycle: its head reaches 760 to 870 °C on a naturally aspirated engine and exceeds 1,000 °C on a turbocharged engine like this one. About 75 % of the heat leaves through the seat and 20 % through the guide. An EV8 family steel keeps 550 MPa at 600 °C but only 300 MPa at 800 °C: the head fatigues, distorts and the seat no longer closes.
FERREA makes this valve in its 6000 series, in EV8 stainless steel, at standard size and with three grooves at the stem tip.

The F6768 has three grooves: check that the collets sit correctly in them before releasing the springs.
Replace the exhaust valve stem seals and check the clearance of each guide (original 5997546) before fitting.
Regrind the 4 exhaust seats with the new valves: the 33 mm head stays at standard size.
