Intake Air Pressure Sensor / MAP Sensor GM 0-4 bar
This engine intake air pressure sensor is a magnetoresistive type: it consists of a ceramic element with measuring resistances that are sensitive to both positive and negative pressure. This component proportionally converts the pressure/vacuum information into an electrical signal between 0 and 5 volts (see conversion table below).
This MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor is compatible with Sybele programmable control units (Challenger 5 and 6).
It will allow the injection time to be adjusted and the ignition timing to be varied.Note that this is an absolute pressure sensor, meaning that it reads the pressure from a perfect vacuum (0 bar) and not from atmospheric pressure (1 bar). This boost pressure sensor measures up to 3 bar.
For a measurement down to 2 bar, you need: MAP sensor 0-3 bar
Sensor supplied with its connector (identical to the 0-4 bar sensor).
