Set of 8 reinforced exhaust valves for Opel Z20LET and X20XEV.
The X20XEV, a 2.0 litre 16-valve Opel four-cylinder, powers the Astra F and G, the Calibra A, the Omega B and the Vectra A and B. The turbocharged Z20LET drives the Astra G Turbo and OPC, the Zafira A OPC and the Speedster Turbo.
Each engine has 8 exhaust valves. The set offered has a 30 mm head in +1 mm oversize, a 5.95 mm stem, a 92.3 mm overall length, a 4.05 mm tip and a single lock groove.
The head of an exhaust valve rises to 760 to 870 °C on a naturally aspirated engine, and beyond 1,000 °C with a turbo. Close to 75 % of that heat leaves through the seat, about 20 % through the guide. An EV8 family exhaust steel falls from 550 MPa at 600 °C to 300 MPa at 800 °C: the head overheats, fatigues, warps and loses its seal.
The GEVI-3313S-8 is made of Inconel, a nickel based superalloy that still holds 860 MPa at 732 °C and 554 MPa at 816 °C, about 85 % more than EV8 steel around 800 °C.
Its head is enlarged by 1 mm, to 30 mm: burnt gases leave faster and the cylinder empties better, provided the exhaust seats are cut to that diameter.

The GEVI-3313S-8 is fitted with KPR-6S-7 collets, made for its single groove.
With a 30 mm head in +1 mm oversize, the 8 exhaust seats are cut to the new size before fitting.
The stem tip is 4.05 mm long.
