Please note: the hose shown with crimped fittings is for illustration only. The kit is supplied with 2 x 1 m DASH 10 stainless braided hoses, 2 straight DASH 10 blue/red fittings and 2 x 90° DASH 10 blue/red fittings, to be assembled yourself.
Fitting the ends onto DASH hose: cut the hose cleanly (wrap tape around it to limit fraying); slide the nut then the hose into the fitting body up to the stop and mark it; lubricate the nipple with engine oil; screw by hand then tighten with a wrench without letting the hose back out; pressure-test the line before fitting it to the vehicle.
Stainless-steel braided reinforced hose, DASH (AN) standard, sold per metre. Nitrile core suitable for fuel, oil and coolant. Assembles with reusable DASH (AN) fittings, no crimping or special tooling required.
Reusable straight hose end fitting for DASH (AN) braided hose. Blue and red anodised aluminium, swivel nut and metal-to-metal cone seal. Assembles without crimping and can be reused after disassembly.
Reusable 90° hose end fitting for DASH (AN) braided hose. Blue and red anodised aluminium, swivel nut and metal-to-metal cone seal. Assembles without crimping and can be reused after disassembly.
MOCAL aluminium straight adapter, 1/2 BSP male inlet to DASH (AN) 10 outlet. Connects a DASH 10 hose to a sandwich plate or oil cooler with 1/2 BSP thread.
Dowty-type sealing washer for 1/2 BSP threaded connections. Seals between the adapter and the sandwich plate or oil cooler.
MOCAL standard sandwich plate fitted between the engine block and the oil filter. Two 1/2 BSP outlets to connect an oil cooler. Non-thermostatic version.
