The 2.7L 24v - M97 category carries the M97.20 generation of Porsche's 2.7L, the one in the Boxster 987 (2005-2008, 240 to 245bhp) and the Cayman 987 (2006-2008, 245bhp), which succeeds the M96. A single active reference: the same WOSSNER forged piston kit K9569DA (169806) as the 2.7L 24v - M96 category, 85.5mm bore, 11:1 CR, 22mm gudgeon pin, 32.3mm compression height. The kit's datasheet also covers the M96.22/M96.23, but this page stays built on the M97, the evolution fitted to the Boxster 987 and the Cayman 987.
