-1R kits use a sprung ceramic friction disc together with a pressure plate of even higher clamping load, for greater torque capacity. These kits are designed specifically for motorsport applications such as circuit racing, rallying, drift racing and drag racing.

The sprung ceramic kit range has been developed for motorsport applications where higher thermal and torque capacity is required. These discs use a sprung hub that helps reduce shock loads and are commonly fitted to track cars retaining the factory gearbox.
