2.0L 16v - FS

The WOSSNER kit of four forged pistons drops the compression ratio to 8:1, the figure for a boosted engine that has to take high boost pressure without knock. The WISECO kit stays at 9.2:1, closer to the standard figure, and suits a naturally aspirated build or moderate boost. Both come in 83mm, 83.5mm and 84mm bore sizes, which leaves two successive rebores before the block needs sleeving. The listing also covers the LS, the second code of the same 2-litre 16-valve unit.
