2.5L 16v - L5 

The L5 is the 2.5L sixteen valve unit of the MZR family. This page carries a single item, but it is the one that decides how far a bottom end can be pushed: the set of MANLEY forged connecting rods in the H-Beam Heavy Duty profile, made to work with forged pistons. Two versions are offered and they differ only by their bolts. The first is fitted with ARP2000 bolts, the usual choice for fast road and track builds. The second takes CA625+ bolts, a higher grade steel meant for boosted engines with high torque, and the price follows. Move up to the second one as soon as the target output goes well beyond standard.
