This category brings together the forged pistons for the Ford Pinto 2.0L 8v OHC engine, fitted to the Capri, Cortina, Escort and Sierra.
The kits come from WÖSSNER and WISECO, two forging specialists well known in engine building. They are offered in several oversizes, so you can match the bore to the real condition of your block once it has been machined.
A forged piston takes far higher thermal and mechanical loads than a standard cast piston, which makes it the starting point for a serious naturally aspirated build or a boosted OHC engine.
